Innovation right from the start
PolyComp GmbH has its headquarters in Norderstedt, just outside Hamburg. We have been operating under our current company name since 2000, when the company was formed as a management buy-out from the former Borealis Compounds GmbH. We have been part of the Hamburg-based Feddersen Group since 2013.
Its companies focus on global trade in chemical and technical products and represent well-known companies in the chemical, investment and consumer goods industries with their own branches not only in Europe, but worldwide. In addition to foreign trade, the group is now active in the global distribution and production of plastics (compounds and masterbatches), stainless steel trading and mechanical engineering.
Our strength lies in the contract and licensed production of technical polymers with a focus and expertise in polyolefins. We see biodegradable and/or biologically based plastics as a growth market and are positioning ourselves accordingly. We strive to maximize customer benefits and offer the highest quality and flexibility at optimal price and delivery conditions.

Sustainability is particularly important to us. That is why we use efficient energy management in our production and are certified in accordance with ISO 50001 : 2018. We are also certified in accordance with ISCC-PLUS and REDcert². The Feddersen Group also sees it as its duty to promote sustainable development beyond production-related measures.
